The Department of State’s Office of Consular Affairs has released the August Visa Bulletin. Much like the July Bulletin, the August Bulletin has moved the priority dates forward for several EB categories.
India EB-2, which moved forward almost four years from the June to the July Bulletin, has moved forward another 4 and a half months from September 1, 2008 to January 22, 2009. China EB-2 priority dates also moved forward from July 1, 2009 to October 8, 2009.
As discussed at the AILA annual conference in June, China EB-3 dates moved forward in the August Bulletin from October 1, 2006 to November 1, 2008. This is a change from earlier predictions that the EB-3 China dates would remain stagnant for the remainder of the 2014 fiscal year. The EB-3 priority dates for the Philippines also moved forward from November 1, 2009 to June 1, 2010.
All other EB priority dates remained the same from the July Bulletin.
